Tragedy.
The ships sail
Lost in the waters of ambition
Where heartless wanderers make their way
At last dolphins arrayed
In a blood red tide
What horror could have fed us this
Savage image
Which came from our own hands
Guilt and passion go into the palm
And hold the years of pain
Life in the wrong
Life drained from savagery
From the violence
Of that last wave
Which sunk my ship
That mighty blast
Had me tied to the mast
Calling out
Too late.
Breaking.
I speak sometimes
From the outside of me
Out of the box of my heart
Together we become two lost songs
Always out of harmony
Dissonant
Sometimes angry
Deep down I hurt
And am lonely
Though I am dreaming of you
Of what could be
Though we never seem to touch
Our love isn’t happiness
Honey doesn’t flow through it anymore
My heart feels sore
I try and try
But you too can not find me
Box’s were meant to be free
Yet within the box
Is where it’s been
Waiting
To
Come out.
